Dear friends,
participants of the First International Razbaum Competition,
We are delighted to inform you that you have been selected to take part in the next round of the competition.
But we regret to inform you that after long consideration we have made a decision to put off the First International Razbaum Competition till the year 2021. We were looking eagerly forward to this event but health and safety of the participants as well as the jury members are our priority. Due to the global pandemic and its implications we are unable to go on with preliminary rounds and host the final round in September as planned.
The Zaryadye Concert Hall where the final round of the competition was planned to be held also alerted us to the possibility of cancellation of all live events. The competition jury members and partners of the Moscow Flute center are unanimous that hearing the candidates perform live is key to selecting the best competitors. Now we are looking forward to seeing you in Moscow in 2021. We hope that all the competitors who are selected to participate in the competition will understand our decision.
